I tried all the suggestions and nothing works.
Is anyone able to draw Ninjatrader charts from interactive brokers data with NT 7.1000.9 and IB 921.5?

          I certainly can't.

          Any help?
          Please?
          Pretty please?

              TWS 921.5 is not responding

              Hi,

Just updated the TWS from 917.8 to 921.5 downloaded friom the NT Connecting Guide.

But the TWS 921.5 will become non responding right after starting (i.e. before NT connected to it). I have uninstalled and reinstalled TWS again. And also uninstalled and reinstalled JAVA and updated to 6 Version 31. However the problem persists.

I have used TWS with NT for many years. It's the first time that TWS won't work well like this. Any clue? Thanks.

                Hello,

                Thanks for the note.

Not sure why that would happen not having any other users reporting they are running into this.

Have you tried contacting IB support to have them check into why the platform would not start? They can look at the logs and see what might be causing the problem.

                  Hi Guys,

Just to let you know, i was having the same problems as pretty much everybody else. I couldn't load my charts on TWS with v 921.5 I obtained from NT website. I was playing around with it and got nowhere.
I even did a fresh install and had to build my quotes pages and charts again from scratch and still nothing. There seems to be a bug in 921.5?

I called IB and they said they didn't support that version. She told me to clear my Java cache and to update to the latest version to see if I had the same problems on TWS.
I updated and loaded my charts and pages with the new version (TWS 923.8a) and was able to get and refresh my charts in TWS. I then opened up NT and loaded my charts to see what would happen.
They loaded as usual and seem to be working properly! I have kept a close eye on it for over a week and my charts on both programs seem to be working fine!

                  Hope this helps.

TWS 923.7 upg and Ninjatrader 7.0.1000.6 noncomp?

                    hello,
upgraded tws to 923.7 and now nt will not connect to IB?
whatr is the best solution, upgrade Ninjatrader to version ?
the error i get is when i go to file/connect/IB
i get the TWS login window, (which shouldnt be because i am already log in to tws with tws up and running).
if i try to sign on again to tws OR if i just close the tws login window,
                    nt locks up and closes.
                    thanks, what is solution?

Second question, i have 64bit vista OS, should i be using Ninja7 64 bit version?
i have normally been using the non 64 bit version and dont see any difference in performance or software?
