    cannot get a new chart to load to save my life

    IQ feed
    Connected
    IQ feed working fine in Multicharts, so not an IQ feed problem
    cannot load any stocks, no matter what
    same thing with futures that i had not previously loaded - e.g., had never loaded the Bund before and cannot get a chart to load at all....however - TF loads fine.
    Have tried restarting, rebooting, etc.

    Really annoying.

    Sorry to hear of your frustration.

    When attempting to load the chart, does an error message trigger? If so, what does the error report?

      no errors...the chart is just blank

        shows "loading data" then just a blank chart loads...

          Which interval of chart are you attempting to load?
          How many days of historical data have you requested?
          Could you provide a few examples of stocks you've attempted to load?

            daily and minute charts

            pick a symbol - ive tried it.

            MSFT, IWM, SPY, INTC, etc.

                15 days for daily charts.
                some futures are working fine some futures are not
                no stocks whatsoever

                  Hello duncanhoo,

                  Can you please disconnect IQFeed and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and check if you load data in charts.

                  There are issues with IQFeed and the Eurex exchange which can clarify any issues you experience with Eurex instruments. IQFeed and the Eurex exchange are working on a solution for these issues.

                  If the issue remains for other instruments, please tell me what NinjaTrader version you have installed. You can check this at Control Center-->Help-->About (7.0.1000.X).

                    did that. when it loaded up there was actualy an MSFT chart but then i changed the chart in some way and nothing. No other symbols load.

                    I can load 6e for example on a renko chart but cant load the same symbol on a daily chart.

                      Can you please use only one chart and check if this will make a difference.

                      Please go to Control Center-->File-->Workspaces. Check what workspaces are listed below 'Save Workspace As'. The workspace with the checkmark is the workspace opened on your monitor. Any additional workspaces listed, are opened in the background.

                      Select a workspace opened in the background - select a workspace without the checkmark. Subsequently, close it by going to Control Center-->File-->Workspaces-->Close Workspace. Repeat these instructions until only one workspace is opened.

                      Close all charts but one and check if all requested data is loaded if you switch instruments.

                      Does it make a difference if you create a brand new workspace and create new charts there?

                        had only one space open. tried closing it, creating a new one and loading a chart. no dice

                          Can you please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support. Put 'Attn Jason, cannot get a new chart to load to save my life' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.
