TWS 917 to become unsupported by IB

I just logged in to my TWS and I got the message that TWS version 917 will be unsupported by IB from 24th february 2012 and told me to upgrade to the latest version. Please add ninjatrader support for newer TWS versions quick because this may be a serious problem for us.

Development is aware of this issue and have been working on a release compatible with more recent versions of TraderWorkstation. We will announce this along with necessary upgrade steps officially very soon.

Sunday evening, an install of 923.6 (current highest ver.) of TWS will not accept API interface with NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6. A ticket was sent to IB tech. but this appears to be a serious loss of functionality. NT currently is of no use with TWS.

i'm currently using NT7 1008 with TWS 917.9a with no issue, having seen the upgrade notice from NT but also some complaints of new 1009 release, i just wonder if somebody has experienced no issue on new 1009 release with TWS 921?

There are no known issues with the 7.0.1000.9 release and TWS build 921.5. Based on what I'm seeing the two work quite well together.

Thank you, TWS build 921.5 is working.

Even better, NinjaTrader 64 bit is now working too. I could never get it to work with the old TWS version.
