Indicator values different on different tools

Hello guys,

You all have helped me a great deal in the past. I have a doozy for you this time.

I am using an indicator uploaded by Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine. I have used it for years... recently, I got the idea to set an alert condition on it.

So, I opened a market analyzer window. I added the appropriate column. I set the values I wanted for the indicator.

However, when I compared the output to what I was getting on the chart... the values are different:

I have done everything possible that I know to do. The indicators are the same value on the chart and in the M.A. I set it to 256 bars. I set it to calculate on bar close. I made sure that I was comparing it to the correct bar even!

Am I missing something / forgetting something?

Please right mouse click within the Market Analyzer window-->Properties and be sure you have the same Session Template applied that is being used within your chart.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

One indicator reads 52.22

The other reads 52.29

That is very close! Thank you!

Any more suggestions to make it match perfectly?

Please right mouse click within your chart-->Properties-->Display update interval-->Set to 0.1-->Click Ok.

Keep in mind this setting is more CPU intensive.

It didn't change anything.

I'm not sure if the chart update setting is the problem.... I have it set to calculate on bar close... the number displayed on the chart's right margin and on the Market Analyzer column is the PREVIOUS bar. There is still a slight discrepancy.

Within your Market Analyzer indicator settings please set Calculate on bar close to False and click Ok to be sure the most recent bar is calculated.

I don't want the CURRENT 4 hour bar to display on the Market Analyzer or on the chart.... Since I am trading the data, I want the last COMPLETED 4 hour bar to display. Which is why I have it set to TRUE.
