Can It Be Done?
Since my eventual goal would be an automated trade, I will start asking my question here. I use NT normally with just a market analyzer window open with stock quotes. I am not a big trader. I do have a stock though that might present arb opportunities. The company owns shares in three other public companies, and the shares don't move lockstep. Would I first be able to get a graph going showing the value of the three owned shares as a percent of the parent, updating real time? If that can be done, I will keep asking more
thanks!Tags: None

Hello fatawan
sure ! Ninjatrader is very powerfull !
You can create a chart with the 'parent' stock.
Then create an indicator, and in the indicator add the three new stocks in the initialize() functoin.
Then on the onbarupdate() you can calculate a percentage and draw in the chart !

Thanks for writing in and I am happy to assist you.
You can achieve what you are trying to do via custom coding a NinjaScript indicator.
To develop your custom indicator/strategies you can contact any of our independent NinjaScript consultants. You can get the list of our NinjaScript consultants from here http://www.ninjatrader.com/partners#...pt-Consultants
Please let me know if I can assist you any further.JoydeepNinjaTrader Customer Service
