    Chart trader disables mouse scrolling

I know you can scroll with arrows but i am a big fan of mouse scrolling...

Any plans to fix that or is it by design?

    Hello duncanhoo,

You should be able to scroll the chart with the mouse scroll wheel when ChartTrader is enabled.

What NinjaTrader version do you have installed? You can check this at Control Center-->Help-->About (7.0.1000.X).

Did you always experience such behavior?

Unfortunately I am not familiar with 'thinknav'. Does it work when you use the mouse scroll wheel?

its just a keyboard pointer like every laptop (on dells too) where you hold down a middle button then use the pointer/joystick to scroll with

I see, thank you for clarifying. I have a Dell that has a mouse pad. However the chart scrolls both ways - with or without ChartTrader enabled.

Does it work when you use the mouse scroll wheel?

I do not have to hold the Ctrl key to scroll with my mouse pad. Does it perhaps works for you this way as well?

Did you always experience such behavior ever since you have NinjaTrader installed?

It has always been this way. i guess it is hardware specific. I dont have an actual mouse....Thinkpad Ultranav is the greatest thing since sliced bread for laptops

Thank you for clarifying. I suggest to check the settings of Thinkpad Ultranav and verify if the scroll function is properly setup.

If so, unfortunately it seems you cannot scroll charts this way. Are you able to scroll the chart if make an up and down movement on the very right edge of the mouse pad?
