    Login failed: Timeout on waiting for TWS !!!

    Hello,

    I have NT7 et TWS 921-5 as is indicated in your tutorial.
    But when I can connect NT to IB, I have this message error : Login failed: Timeout on waiting for TWS

    Anybody have a solution for my problem ?

    Please double-check your NinjaTrader version by clicking Help > About.
    If you are not using the current 7.0.1000.9 release, please shut down NinjaTrader and TWS then upgrade via the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration

        Hello,

        Can you please also clarify who you have an account with? Are you using another introducing broker, or do you have an account with Interactive Brokers?

        Is the version of TWS you are using a White Labled version? If you are unsure, please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and provide me with a screen shot of your version of TWS and I can help determine if this is a supported version.

          I've downloaded and installed TWS from Ninjatrader.com:



          See attached screenshots for all other relevant information.

              The following work-around typically allows the connection to take place:
              • Open TWS. In menu bar click <Configure> and proceed as outlined below:
              • Configuration--> Display--> Settings
              • On the right panel in "Titlebar text" there is a edit box. Enter following into it:
                "Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation" (without quotes)
              • Then navigate to Configuration--> Display--> Style
              • Check the setting: Use system title bar (Change requires a restart).
