Attaching lines to other charts

Hi!
I use 3 different time frames for ES (60min, 240min, 1 day)
I try to duplicate a diagonal line from daily to 60min timeframe using attach to All charts feature. The problem is that the line seems distorted (located in different location) in 240min chart and even more in 60min.
Please see charts in the attachment.
Look for red color diagonal line

For best results, please draw the line in the smallest interval chart (the 60 minute in this case).

It's not the way it should work.
How can you draw a line which is several months long in 60 min chart?
What if you need to draw a support line from a year ago?
It's insane!

Sorry to hear of your frustration.

A limitation of the way which this currently operates is that the drawing object's anchor points are assigned to absolute values.

This means that an object's anchors can be plotted oddly when looking at them in a smaller time frame - just as you're reporting here - because the scale which is used to view the data is changed drastically. This is not a limitation which functions the other way however; drawings created in a smaller interval chart and viewed in a lager interval chart display as one would expect.

If drawing in the smaller interval chart does not meet your needs, what I would recommend as an alternative is using the 'Data' tab in the line properties menu to assign the specific anchor points you wish to use. (see attached) You'll still want to create this line within the smaller interval chart but the object will not need to be created via manual drawing.

As I understand I need to copy parameters in the 'Data' tab in the line properties menu from daily timeframe to the 'Data' tab from 60min timeframe.
Am I right?

This is correct, however the times and prices may require some fine-tuning to ensure that they display at the values you expect to see them at in the 60 minute chart.
