Attach to -> All charts

Hi,

Every drawing tools has a property "attach to -> all charts".

I would like to add to my strategy drawing a dot when entry position and I would like to see this dot on every chart of tested instrument (in different time frames).

Also, I would like to add background color when position in opened and to see this background on every chart.

Is there any Ninjascript code for that?

Please support.

Thanks for writing in and I am happy to assist you.

Unfortunately you cannot attach a draw object as drawn by NinjaScript to another chart. However programmatically creating Global Draw Object through NinjaScript is already in the list of our future consideration and is in our feedback list #570.

To change the background color please use the BackColor or BackColorAll property.

Can you tell me what exactly your issue is?

Can you upload some screenshots depicting the issue you are facing?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

all charts

when i set ...properties from highlighting say eg a channel,trend channel,and select "all charts" the channel is not conveyed to the other charts in the worskspace.....

Make sure Show global draw object is set to true.

• Right click on the Chart
• In the context menu click on Data Series…
• In the Data Series…. in the parameter box on the right, set the field “Show global draw objects” to true.
