Proper date format for the computer

What is the proper and standard date formatting I have to set my computer for? Beware that I am in Europe. I know it should be "mm.dd.yyyy" but is it with "." in between or a "/" like "mm/dd/yyyy"?

I currently have it with the "." but something odd is happening in that when I create a chart with 1 data series and want to add a 2nd data series the second one does not show up. And this date formatting issue is the only thing I see may have changed (I got a new laptop today and am reinstalling everything).

    Hi sandman,

Date formatting should mirror the format used by your PC - that said, I'm not totally sure that the other issue is related. Can you walk me through an example of the instruments you're adding and what behavior you do see?

Thanks Kyle. I think you are right the specific date formatting is a requirement for one of the 3rd party indicator providers I am using. I will check with them. If the problem persists, I will get back to you.
