    Backup datafeed

    I trade with IB and I also have a kinetick datafeed. I use IB as a primary datafeed and Kinetick as the secondary. Both are always connetced.

    The setting for the IB connection are as the image I attach. When IB interrupts its connection I don't get the data from Kinetick. I supposed that when the primary connetcion is interrupted the data would come from the secondary.

    When the primary stops everything stops

    Can you please tell me which version of NinjaTrader you are using, NT V7.0.1000.9? You can check this under Help--> About.

    Do you receive real-time data when connected to only Kinetick?

        Hello,

        In my testing, you should see it fail over to the Kinetick connection.

        How long are you waiting for the connection to resume?

        Are you watching data on the charts, Time & Sales or SuperDOM?

        Does the data resume if you reselect an instrument from the chart or T&S window while the data has stopped?

          Today I had a long IB disconnection. Charts where unavailable for a long time.

          I'm watching data on the charts only.

          I didn't try the last option.

          There is a way to test this without waiting for a disconnection from IB.

          I tried the following: I connected IB and After Kinetick. I disconnected IB and the date came from Kinetick correctly.

          But if when connected to IB the data from them stops then the data deosn't flow from the Kinetick connection.
