Historical data recording does not work

I have Ninja set to save all historical and market replay data. The market replay data works, however it does NOT save historical chart data.

I was told earlier that using the market analyzer would work for saving tick data.

What am I doing wrong, or what is dysfunctional here until the next release?

Please contact me with a note to Supporrt [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In the message, I'd like you to include three things:

1.) A link to this thread.

2.) A copy of today's trace file:
You'll find that file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. The file which I'm looking for would be named 'trace.20120313.txt'.

3.) Lastly, please provide me with a copy of your Config file which you would find in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder.

Ver 7.0.0.22 XP 64 bit : I have exactly the same problem. *ntm files under ...../db/data/ are updating , but none historical data is written. Please help .

OK my "problem" is solved. Initially, when a database is empty, historical data begins to be written, only when a chart for an instrument is opened. It means, the data is written, only when it's used. Strange, but this is a way it works.
