Can't Download Replay Data

    Can't Download Replay Data

    This morning I tried downloading replay data but got an error message "Error on downloading replay data: Connection to data server is busy or not available right now. Please try again later."

    Will this be resolved soon?

    Hello Chuck,

    Thank you for your note.

    This message usually means that either the Market Replay download server is busy or that you are having trouble connecting to our server.

    Please wait 5 to 10 minutes and try to use the download Market Replay service again.

    Let us know if you have this issue again.

      Hello Cameron. I've waited over 15 minutes and I continue to get the error message.

        Chuck,

        What instrument and day are you trying to download?

        When not using Market Replay, who do you normally connect to?

        Are you running any Anti-Virus or Firewall software? If so, can you temporarily disable this software and restart NinjaTrader and try the download again?

          My issue is a little bit different, but it's similar so I thought I could post in here. Replay download works for ES but not for AAPL. The error says:

          There is no L1 replay data available for that instrument/date. I am using Kinetick Free EOD data and the simulator for now. Wish data through my broker was permitted, but they are not on your list.

            Thank you for your post.

            The NinjaTrader replay data servers offer replay data for commonly traded futures and forex instruments only at this time. While a adding stocks is something development is considering in the future, if you intend to replay stock data, that data must be recorded in real-time on the local PC.
