    eSignal extended history data

The following link provides a search of eSignal's knowledge base:

    http://kb.esignal.com/display/2/inde...39456081390381

Search for "How much historical data is available with eSignal", and select the first result "eSignal History Data".

In relation to the columns "Extended Tick" and "Extended Intraday", please see the second footnote (**) paragraph detailing the "Extended History add-on". Here is the paragraph ...

The Extended History add-on was recently made available to third party applications. However, each individual 3p vendor will need to make some coding changes in order for this feature to work in their software. Please contact your third party vendor to confirm or request the availability of the extended history add-on. Please note, however, that the Desktop API and applications created with it do not support extended history.
Is the Extended History add-on available in NinjaTrader?

Thanks for the patience AnotherTrader, this would unfortunately not be possible to access right now, but our developers have added this to their list to look into.

        workaround?

thanks, do you know what the quickest workaround would be until the feature is added to NT7?

          Hello hrhk285,

One possibility would be exporting the historical data to a text file, then manually importing that data in to NinjaTrader. Note that the file itself would need to meet some formatting restrictions however. Please see the following link to our Help Guide for more information: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../importing.htm

I am also interested in NinjaTrader supporting this.
