Data not shown on chart

I figured out how to export and import the data of a Foreign exchange currency.
of EUR/USD
I exported the data of March 01 2012 till March 31 2012 from one instance of Ninja Trader and then imported the data into Ninja 7
while the data was being imported I could see the status bar showing the progress day by day.
However when I open the chart - There is no data
can this data be used to display a chart.
How do I do this ?

Hello rjngh2005,

Thanks for the post. Please check the Historical Data Manager under Tools menu to verify that the data imported successfully. You should see it visible under the Edit tab for EURUSD.

If it's there, then you can chart the same "base" type charts. (Minute, Tick or Daily). You may also need to adjust the chart's Days To Load setting from the Right Click > Data Series screen to accommodate the date range of data you imported.

I went to Historical data manager
Next I went to the Edit Tab
there I see $EURUSD and see Last and then when I expand the minute section...it gives me all the dates
and when I click 3/30/2012 it says 417 items
and when I click 3/29/2012 it says 1430 items
and when I click 3/28/2012 it says 1417 items
I am sure if I click the other days of the month of March it will show me the number of items for all the dates
Next I went to File New chart and clicked $EURUSD and hit New
and changed settings to each candle 240 minutes and days to load=45
and lo and behold - the data shows up in the chart....
I am documenting the steps so that other people having the same issue can refer to notes of a newbie.
