    Exporting data

I'm trying to export historical data but during the export process an error occurs and the export stops. It seems that there is corrupted data.

Although this, when backtesting and optimizing works fine. I would like to export this data to another NT install for long backtests.

Is there a way to do take the data from a folder and just paste it to the same folder on the other install? I s this feasible?

    thanks

    Hello guillembm,

Are you able to delete the corrupted data and subsequently perform the export? You can delete data in the Edit-tab. Instructions can be found at the link below.

Historical data is saved at Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db in tick, minute and day folders. These folders contain folders per instrument. You could transfer these files between computers. Please make sure NinjaTrader is closed when you do so and do not make any changes in the file structure - just copy and paste files in the appropriate locations.
