Super DOM and 10 levels of Bid/Ask prices

Does the LEVEL II thing work? I know it's not the DOM, but it should give you whatever is deep??

It 'works,' it's just kinda cumbersome imo, particularly the way it is laid out. Although I'm sure if you stared at it long enough it would be ok. I tried it for a while, but after too long I gave up on it.

There is a DOM that a company makes for NT that is actually nicer than X-Trader, and then its just a matter of how good the data feed you use is. It's priced reasonably also.

Not interested in plugging the company, but it is out there.

I was write in this thread about importing the eds level2 indikator.
but so far i have no luck to do so.
I checked out your help guide for importing and exporting but still no chance.
i get the following message when imporrting this indicator:
Import failed. The NT Script QArchive file may contain duplicate method names that already exist on you pc or there is a required file missing on either your pc or in the import archive.

Can you help?

I miss the functionality if the DOMsphere product.
Has anyone picked up on continuing it?
Is there anything similar available?

I would like to see this move forward due to recent volatility and how currency futures has more ticks. Maybe it should be a dropdown to choose 5 or 10 levels.

Are you talking about wanting a feature to support 10 levels of bid/ask prices on the DOM. If so this is possible and an option in NinjaTrader 8 and we default it to 10 by default.

Yes. But would like to see it in NT7. I have custom indicators I wrote and many NT7 indicators I rely on.

Understood, although we have no plans to de-support NinjaTrader 7 and will fix any critical issues that may come up to keep NinjaTrader 7 functional. We don't have any plans for any new features and functionality to be added to NinjaTrader 7.

Ok. But can market volatility be the critical issue because we can only see half depth of market and the market is moving really fast? Trading NQ or YM on the DOM is wild.

Unfortunately we would not at this time add this feature to NinjaTrader 7. An example of a critical issue we would address would be a needed security update or loss of connectivity due to a required API change out of our control.
