    Working the CCI

    Hello NT Support,
    My strategy requires triggering trades off of the CCI signal line crossing the +100 and -100 lines (and others) of the CCI indicator. I'm working in Strategy Wizard but can't conceptualize how to do it. I can see how it would work on the chart but having trouble translating it to the Strategy Wizard (If it can be done in Strategy Wizard and not Ninjascript). The parameters don't include the +- 100 lines and don't understand what would serve as the signal line. Close of bar? Sorry, need some remedial help to get going. Thanks.

    Thanks for writing in and I am happy to assist you.

    Please see the attached screenshot which enters a long order when CCI crosses over 100.

    By default the input series is Close. You can however choose which input series the CCI will be calculated on.

      Hello!
      I try to define StopLoss and TakeProfit in Strategy Wizard, for example, + or - some points from position entering price. But i can't understand, what condition should I put to activate StopLoss and TakeProfit?

        The attached screenshot sets a 10 tick stop and profit target.

          I've Tried Strategy Wizard for CCI Crossovers. I followed previous posts. I used Cross Above -100, and Cross Below 100. (With Arrows and Sound Alert). I skipped Stop and Target.I Compiled and hit next, finish.

          When I go to Strategy Icon on Chart, it is Grayed Out. It states "Strategies Disabled if Chart Trader Enabled." I went to Chart Properties and at "Show Chart Trader" I clicked False to disable. Still no Change. I can't apply Live Strategy. I restarted NT still no Luck.

            Just a guess: check that the strategy is being set to sim101 OR that you have unchecked "start in sim mode".
