Real time data service

Dear support team,

I'm considering which RT data service to use with NT charting SW.

I've noticed that in the NT Connection Guide for Kinetick, http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php, it says that "Kinetick is the preferred streaming real time and historical market data service for NinjaTrader".

What is the reason for that?
What are the advantages of Kinetick over other data providers (e.g., IQFEED which I consider in addition to Kinetick).

The main advantage to using Kinetick over a provider such as IQFeed or eSignal is that it is a hosted solution. This means that the adapter is built directly into NinjaTrader and does not require a 3rd party API for connectivity which at times can introduce potential issues.

We are also more familiar with Kinetick and we are better suited for providing support for this service than a 3rd party such as IQFeed or eSignal.

You will also find that Kinetick is very competitively priced against the competition.

Real time service starts as low as $50 per month or completely free if all you need is end of day data. If you trade CME Globex products, you can have these exchange fees waived if you have a qualified brokerage account.

Hello,

As far as hosted data providers, there is also BarChart.

You can also consider Zen-Fire and CQG for real-time and historical data, however these do require a broker account with a supported broker for access.

Not sure I understand what you've wrote about Kinetick "lacked the real-time feed I was looking for".

Don't Kinetick have a real time data feed?
But that's what they offer in their web site for 50$ amonth.

Appreciate if you could clarify that.

I only trade CME Globex products. I don't need those 100 symbols. I also have a qualified brokerage account. Do I still need to pay $50 per month?
