    Hello ninja99,

    Thank you for your post.

Please shut down Ninjatrader and then right click on your Windows Task Bar > select Task Manager > select the Processes tab > select the "winros.exe *32" process > End Process > OK.

Then restart NinjaTrader and advise if you are able to connect to eSginal.

There is no winros.exe *32" process only winros.exe (eSignal data manger).
      Is this the one?

            Hello ninja99,

Can you please install our latest version (7.0.1000.10). It contains fixes and enhancements compared to older versions. You can download and install the latest version from the link below on top of your current version. Make sure NinjaTrader is closed when you install the new version.

Please check if you are able to connect using our latest version. Make sure you have eSignal 10.6.2124 as well. You can download it from our eSignal connection guide at the following link.

Thanks, connection works now after installing latest version of NinjaTrader.

However, I encounter problem on importing of symbol.
Error message is: the following symbols are either invalid or your import file is not formatted correctly. Please correct the problem retry.

              BN4-SES

The above symbol is correct for SGX exchange.

              Please advise.

Am I correct you try to import this instrument via Control Center-->File-->Utilities-->Import Stock Symbol List? Unfortunately you cannot use "-" in the instrument name. You could use a "." instead.

I corrected the symbol from "-" to "." and it went through, however, nothing is loaded.

Do I need to specify the URL for eSignal in the instrument editor?
If so, what is the URL?

                    Hello ninja99,

Please go to Tools --> Historical Data Manager --> Edit and see if you can find the instrument you just imported and to see if there is data available. If so, make sure your chart symbol matches exactly with the instrument name in the Historical Data Manager.

Also, make sure you are loading the chart dates to times when you have data available. You can adjust the chart dates by right clicking in your chart and selecting "Data Series.." Then set the property "Load data based on" to "Custom range" and set the custom range to match the data you imported.

The instruments are not in historical data manager despite changing "-" to "."

Examples of eSignal instruments of SGX are BN4-SES, K17-SES and S68-SES.

What I have attempted to download are K17.SES and S68.SES

                        Hello ninja99,

The URL is not required to receive data.

Can you please check if you see the instruments in the Instrument Manager. Please type "S68.SES" without quotations in the Name field and hit Search.

Yes, S68.SES is found by search in instrument manager.

Then the instrument imported successful. I assume your issue is that you do not load data for this instrument when connected to eSignal.

Could you please send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find this file at C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7. Please attach the file in your email and send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason, NinjaTrader and eSignal Connection Problem' in the subject header.
