    backup

    Hello,

    usually backup works fine on both computers. But now for a few days it occurs that it seems backup has finished as usually but the blue bar stays for hours (please see the screenshot). But I can use NT regularly, both computers. Strange.

    What might be the reason for, what should I do?

    Hello,

    Does this happen on both computers or just one?

    Do you have any anti-virus programs running at this time?

    Are you backing up all NinjaTrader settings or just a few? If you create a backup with only one item selected, do you see the same behavior? Can you isolate this to just one item that you check (E.g., this only happens when you backup Historical Chart Data, or Workspaces, etc)

      I restarted PC and Ninja both PC and now it works again. Strange.

        Help with backup

        How exactly do I not transfer my credentials. I have a demo account that I will use at unsecured locations so I want to use my demo account. I do not want to have my real account to be connected to my laptop which will be used at coffee shops when traveling. I have a setup I wouldn't mind using at hotels and other places where I can connect to Firewall/Ethernet connection.

        Which options do I need to unclick in the backup to not transfer my account information that I will be transferring to my laptop? So want everything else just not my
        1. Ninjatrader account (live account)
        2. My connect credentials to my live trading account.
