    Optimizing RSI in strategy wizard

Trying to backtest a strategy using RSI and need some clarification on the parameters within the strategy wizard.

    1. Whats the difference between "Avg" and "RSI" in the plot parameter?

    2. Does a "smooth" value of 1 give you a "regular" RSI value?

    3. If I want to optimize for RSI at a certain reading/number what do use on the right side of the equation that allows a user defined input?

    Thanks

dtf139, the Avg would just be a smoothed RSI, using the smooth input period for calculating the average.

If you set smooth to 1, RSI and Avg should be equal, so it would not matter which plot you access.

For optimizing a threshold, just setup a user defined input of type 'int' for example and then compare to it selecting on the right side of the condition builder interface.
