I am new...I currently have a TDAmeritrade account. Is it possible to use that as the data provider? If not, are there any free data providers?

TD Ameritrade is a supported connectivity provider, you can view our connection guide for TDA at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php

For free data feeds, there is Google, Yahoo, and the Kinetick Free EOD connection (which comes pre-configured in NinjaTrader. However, these data feeds only provide End of Day Daily data.

As long as you have not upgraded to TOS and have an REAL TDA account.
