Volume based tick trigger

Hello,

I am new the platform and would like to take a program that I have written in Python and convert to Ninja Trader

Without getting into too much detail, are there any examples that allow me to

i) trigger an entry when the moving average DOM Bid Side less DOM Ask Side is over a particular value

How do you test this after you code it?

NinjaScript is basically C# and you have to convert your code written in Python to NinjaScript to run it in NinjaTrader.

You can read the level 2 order book (Dom) in the OnMarketDepth event. Please refer to this sample codes for further reference on how to read the Dom

The OnMarketDepth event is a realtime event only and unfortunately cannot be backtested.

Trouble getting the sample code to run

I followed the example of downloading the sample code for "samplemarketdepth" and the zip file was not able to import? Then, I tried unzipping and putting the *.cs file into my strategies folder and it didn't compile

Any suggestions?

After I get it downloaded? How do I run it to see the results?

Please follow the below steps to import the indicator to NinjaTrader.

• From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript to open the Import NinjaScript dialog window
• Select the file you want to import
• Press the "Open" button

It says...

You have a custom ninjascript on your PC that have proramming errors. These errors must be rsolved before you can import a Ninja Archive Script.

How do I resolve these errors?

Please append Attn:Joydeep in the subject line of the email and give reference of this thread in the body of the email.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
