    no data in graph

    Hello,

    since i opened ninja on another computer there is a empty FDAX chart, no data in there.
    IB is succesfully connected, API aswell etc etc.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Rob,
    Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

        Hello Rob,
        In Control Center menu bar goto Help > Mail to support.

        In the Mail to support dialog make sure log and trace file is checked and in the body of the email please add the ticked id 655348.

        Please see the attached picture for more details.

            Waiting for your suggestions

            The IB connection is good. Also strange that it happened when i started ninja on other computer, also the strategies from one computer are not saved when i open ninja on the second computer.

            When i close one down it ask me if i want to save the data...

              Unfortunately I didnt received the log trace files.

              Please manually email it to me to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com
              • You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
              • The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

              • You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
              • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"


              The YYYY is the year, the MM is the month, and the DD is the date.

              Please append Attn:Joydeep in the subject line of the email and give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

                      Hello, new info regarding the ' no data in chart' IF i select 1 minute for example i DO get the fdax data. It's ONLY when i want to select the chart WITH an iwmeanrenko there appears no data in the chart. I already imported the renko again, no change. Rob

                        Hello Rob,
                        Did you received my mail yesterday?

                        Interactive Brokers supports minute and daily data only.

                        Renko charts (or any of its variant like the custom renko bar you are using) on the other hand are built from tick data. If you dont have tick data in your database then the chart wont get built.

                        In such case you have to connect to a data provider who provides tick data. I would suggest you get a subscription for Kinetick, which is also the preferred data feed for NinjaTrader, and supports unfiltered tick data.
