Possible for charts to skip a day (such as yesterday)?

Is it possible to prevent one's chart from displaying data from a holiday, such as yesterday? The chart in question is for the S&P emini (ES) and the data series is set to the CME RTH index futures hours. Thank you.

This might not be what you want to do, but you could just go into the Historical Data Manager and delete the data for that day.

      Hello Known,

      Thank you for your post.

Using a custom Session Template that doe snot have Monday in it would resolve this, however you would not be able to view Mondays data for any week.

In this case I would agree with Radical's suggestion here. Removing the data from the Historical Data Manager (Tools > Historical Data Manager) would mean there is no data to display on the chart for that date.

For information on editing data in the Historical Data Manager please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...t7/editing.htm

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

        Hi,
I can delete data for Thanksgiving, but how do I reload my chart without NT connecting to hist. data servers and loading the deleted data again?

          Hello,

To exclude data please use the steps below:
          • Tools-->Historical Data Manager
          • Edit tab
          • Locate the data you would like to exclude
          • Right click on the row-->Exclude
          • After excluding data you do not want displayed
          • Click Save
          • Right click within your chart and reload data

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Editing Data:

            Thanks Christopher,
that's what I did, but can only exclude one row per click, it took me a while to exclude TG RTH prices. :-(

Fortunately it was "only" 2 hours - or 120 clicks

Currently there is not an option to select multiple rows within the Historical Data Manager however development has assigned this feature request ID #2866 in their tracking system.

Why do you want to delete the data? After all there were trades, and you would be better off to leave that data on your chart.
