Instrument Manager - adding new instrument

    Hello NT Team

I have a problem adding a new instrument in the instrument manager
As Example: at the moment the fgbl 06-12 is the actual future.
Now i want to add the fgbl 09-12 but in the instrument manager i can only choose the actual 06-12.
How can i get the new one.

    Thanks

    Hello PeterPan,

You can rollover futures instruments as per the instructions at the link below.

Let me know if this will not work for you.

I see, thank you for clarification This is possible as well. You can add the FGBL 06-12 and FGBL 09-12 to your instrument list as per the instructions at the link below.

You should be able to set 'Expiry' to 09-12. Highlight the FGBL in the 'Available master instruments' section and click the arrow pointing to the left.

How can I edit the Forex instrument list on my chart, I know I can add the instrument to Default and then edit on my chart, but is there a way that without adding to Default that I can edit all my Forex pairs on the chart.

              Hello BobyGill,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

The six most recently used instruments will appear at the top of the drop-down list you see in your charts, etc. To remove any unwanted instruments, please hover over the instrument with your mouse and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

To create a list of instruments which will always appear on this drop-down list, please use the pin feature within the drop down list. In addition to your six most recently used instruments, any pinned instruments will appear at the top of your drop-down list.

Please see the following section of the NinjaTrader 8 Help Guide for more information. There is a section called "Pinning and Removing Instruments" which addresses your particular questions.
