I have a chart with a ton of drawed objects on it and I'd like to move it to another workspace. Is this possible? I tried saving it as a template but that doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Can I copy a chart to another workspace?
Hi,
I have a chart with a ton of drawed objects on it and I'd like to move it to another workspace. Is this possible? I tried saving it as a template but that doesn't work. Any suggestions?Tags: None

Thank you for your post.
Currently Drawing Objects can only be copied to charts existing in the active Workspace however I have forwarded this to our development team as a suggestion on how we can improve the NinjaTrader platform. Once this suggestion has been input into our tracking system I will forward you the assigned ID number for tracking.
The only option is to save your current Workspace as another name creating a duplicate then make adjustments to these windows then opening the old Workspace by going to File-->Workspaces-->Open Workspace.

This has been submitted and is being worked on in development.
There is a item in the NT8 Major Enhancements guide on page 1 that explains the new Tabbed features of NinjaTrader, one of them lists as the following:
Existing tab content can also be duplicated into a new tab, or into an entirely new window.

Thank you for the question.
For critical updates you would get a small popup notification in the platform generally but there is also the download page on NinjaTrader.com which will tell you the current release.
If you go to the above web page, enter either your email or current license key and press Download Now, it will take you to a page listing the versions available.
To update please close the platform and download the current release. After running the setup please launch the platform again.
I usually recommend to do a instrument reset after the update as well
To reset your instruments: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.
