Advice on Kinetick EOD Historical data with IB

    The error message in the logs when a strategy is executing orders is : "Kinetick. Order not accepted since market data is not supported by the connectivity provider"

    Once i disconnect from kinetick and am only on the IB connection, everything works.

    So you are right in that it is not sending orders to kinetick. But I think it is not sending orders to anyone period because the market data of the first connection made and the one used in the strategy applied chart do not match.

    I have been testing on sim account.

      Unfortunately you will need to connect to IB first when running automated strategies. Automated strategies run on the first connected connection, which is now Kinetick EOD that does not provide real-time data. This causes the error you experience. You will need to connect to IB first if you like to run automated strategies.
