Having a 5min indie on a 1min chart

Hi,

I use 2 x charts for my trade stalking, 1minute and 5minute.

I have 2 few indicators which plot on the 5minute chart. I don´t use the indicators on the 1minute chart because different "values" are plotted from the 5minute version of the indicator, which is the preferred # for me to use - the value difference is very small, but I like it to be exact, obviously.

I want to put the same indicators onto the 1minute chart, but I want the indicator to plot the 5minute values onto the 1minute chart. Can I have a 1minute chart but plotting 5minute indicator values on it? So the 1min chart has duplicate values from the 5minute version?

Ok. It´s worked. One issue is that I have the secondary (to be minimized) chart in panel 3. I have CCI in panel 2 so if I click minimize then it minimizes CCI too, which I don´t want obviously - Is there a way around this?

Also, on the secondary data added the candles are really far apart, how can I make them the same distance apart as the main primary chart (otherwise my dotted lines are massively spaced). I tried to drag the bottom (panel 3) chart by dragging the time to squash, but it does the panel 1 chart and panel 2 cci too. How can I independently do it?

Hello ScottieDog,

The candles being farther apart is to be expected from the difference in time intervals. You cannot adjust the axis interdependently for each panel since 1 minute is going to be the smallest interval the X-Axis will be in 1 minute increments.

I´ve noticed today that my MurreyMath indicator isn´t updating correctly on the charts which now have 2 data series on them. Is this a known issue?

Normally when price touchs the outside range of the MM, the range recalculates and expands, re-positioning all the different levels ... now it is not doing this.... a few minutes ago price was trading below the most extreme -MM line, which is not really possible as the range should expand on its "touch test"... Seems the 5min data is interfering somehow..

Your thoughts?

It should not matter if there are multiple data series in a chart only what input series the indicator is based on and how the indicator is coded.

So that I may further assist you could you answer the following questions.

Does the indicator on the 1min chart (but based off of the 5 min) match the 5min chart with the that you have next to it?

Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center?

Where did you download the MurreyMath indicator from?
