Adding XAGUSD to Instrument Manager from TWS

I'm trying to view the price of physical silver. Everything is coming through ok except for what I've added for physical silver.

Here's what I see in TWS (attached).

Here's what I've done in the instrument manager (attached).

Why can't I see the live price in NT? It's working for my silver stocks.

    Hello texasnomad,

    Thank you for your post.

The XAG/USD instrument comes with NinjaTrader by default, however in the default configuration the symbol used in the Interactive Brokers field is XAG.USD

Try adding the period between the two pairs, press "OK" on the editor and the Instrument Manager and reload the chart you are trying to view.

Does this now show data or updating prices that reflect the same as TWS?

I tried it with the period as well. Neither of those settings works properly.

        texasnomad,

Upon further inspection of this instrument, IB lists this as an instrument type of commodity, which is not traded.

Since this is not traded, this is not a supported symbol to import into NinjaTrader itself.

I can forward this request to our Development Team for future consideration.

How can I track the physical price of silver inside of NT using IB as my data feed?

            texasnomad,

Unfortunately this instrument cannot be viewed in NinjaTrader.
