    Reset P&L

    Hi,
I'm running NinjaTrader Beta 6.5 version 5 on a live license.

When I start up NinjaTrader on the next day, the DOM still displays my P&L from yesterday. How do I reset this P&L for the current trading session without losing the history of my previous trade executions?

    Thank you.

Does "yesterday" and "today" fall in the same calendar day on your PC? If yes, there is no way to reset since NT simulator goes by calendar day and not a trading session.

      Hi,

"yesterday" and "today" are 2 seperate calender days.

I'm trading only one market, Asian hours (GMT+8).

Is there a setting on NinjaTrader that I may not have set correctly to reset the P&L at the start of the next trading day?

Is this a live account or a Sim101 account? If live, who are you connected to?

          Hi,
it's a live account and I'm connected to Interactive Brokers.

I've contacted IB. It seems to be their server problem. In any case, today the DOM is displaying a flat P&L, so everything is alright now.

          Thank you for your help.

            DOM reflects yesterday's P&L

            Hi,

my DOM reflects yesterday's P&L at the start of the next day's trading session and continues to show until mid-day. At mid-day, the DOM then flattens the P&L.

It is not Interactive Broker's problem as their order entry screen reflects everything correctly, as you can from the screenshot.

I do not carry positions overnight. I am running Beta 6.5.010 on a live license. Trading only 1 product (SGX Nikkei) in Asian hours (GMT+8).

How do I configure DOM to reflect the P&L correctly? Thank you!

The values seen in the DOM is directly sent from IB TWS API. We display what they send us and there is no way to change this.
