    I use a simulated Ninja Trader 7 with a free license key. I can add a chart like NQ 09-12, but just a blank screen. Am I missing some steps?

    Thanks for writing in.

    So I may assist you further please answer the following.

    1) Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
    2) What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About
    3) Who is your broker?
    4) What instrument have you selected?
    5) (For a chart) what interval is selected?
    6) Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center?

      Thanks for your quick response, Brandon.
      Due to simulation version I'm using, I can't answer to all of your questions, but I will do my best.
      I have tried to connect to Kinetic and my version is Ninja Trader 64 bit 7.0.1000.10, simulation only. No error message.
      What is the best way to use the simulation version effectively?

        Thanks for your reply.

        Are you using the Kinetick End Of Day (Free) or a paid for Kinetick real time subscription?

        If using the Kinetick End Of Day (Free) you will only be able to create charts with historical daily interval data such as day, week, month, and year.

        If you wanted real time, minute, or tick data you would need to connect to a provider who supports that data.
