ESignal - Minute and Tick data not loaded in NT

    Hello

When I try to download with NinjaTrader minute or tickdata from ESignal, then I get an error. When I download daily data it works. When I download directly in ESignal, it works too (daily, minute, tick). I tried with Gold Cash (XAU A0-FX).
    Error with NT is:
    ESignal.Unmanaged.RequestMinuteBars.DbcRequestBarD ata: unexpected error -104
    ESignal.Unmanaged.RequestMinuteBars.DbcRequestBarD ata: unexpected error -104
Why does it not work from Ninjatrader?

    thanks

    Hi Beauregard,

Thanks for the post. Are you checking this on NT7 latest release (7.0.1000.10)? I'm not seeing the same thing here with eSignal and this instrument. The default settings should work for $XAUUSD which maps to XAU A0-FX in esignal.

You can reset to default instrument settings with these steps:
To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

      hi

I assume "resetting instruments" does reset all instruments? My custom settings are then lost?

There is a confirmation box with reset instruments detailing exactly what is changed. I've posted that here along with the settings for this instrument if you want to check it / recreate it instead.

          Hi
Thanks for the instructions. I created a new instrument with the values of your screenshot. Unfortunately same behavior: Historical Download for Days works, Minutes not.
In general: When it is working with days but not minutes, can the source of the problem at all the setup of the instrument be? Does not sound logical to me.

addition: I made another test and added FDAX 09-12. Same behavior. So the problem can hardly be the definition of the instrument. It would be good if NT would give some more detailed error information

              Hello,

Sure, when you say download minute data how exactly are you doing this? What dates are you using?

What reginal settings is your PC set too?

Does a chart pull up going 5 days back or still same error?

I look forward to assisting you further.

<Does a chart pull up going 5 days back or still same error?

I come back to this problem, could not solve it until today. But now I need to have minute data.
I made sure, that I have no double instruments in my DB. I reset the instruments and started NT new.
No change. I tested with the instrument IBM, DAX-Index and TECDAX-Index.
I want to download Minute/Last data. Always get this message:
"Error on reloading data: Error -104 on requesting bars (Panic)

I can download daily data. I can download minute data with qcollector from esignal

                      Hello Beauregard,

Can you send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find the Config.xml file at C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7. Please attach it in your email.

You can send the email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Att Jason, ESignal - Minute and Tick data not loaded in NT' in the subject header of your email.
