    Problem with ^TICK

    Hi

I'm getting the wrong information on TICK from NT7. I've two providers - kinetick and IB. In both cases I'm getting the wrong data - I've tried them separately and I've also reset the instruments and the data, along with changing the kinetick ticker.

28th June through NT7 has a high of 1320 and low of -946 - that's not even close to the actual data - checked in IB and stockcharts - high of 1502 and low of -1141.

It's consistently wrong. Any advice how to fix this ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello magnitude,

This is to be expected as the TICK is going to be calculated differently by each data provider because it is not on the market exchange. With each data provider having to calculate the TICK based on the market data, depending on how each of there servers process the incoming information and if they are using RTH(Regular Trading Hours) or ETH(Extended Trading Hours) they may be different Note that the TICK range is like a heart beat, it can go from +1000 to -1000 in a second therefore the close of each can be different as well.
