Removal of Bar type indicator

Hi,

I want to remove an indicator.
It's a bar(period) type in data series called momentum and I can't find it indicator list nor strategy list.
Where can I find it to remove?

Bar types would be in MY Documents / NinjaTrader 7 / bin / custom / type

If you delete the file, then you can compile any single indicator and it will be gone.

I have the same issue but the bar types that's in my bar types in my data series do not appear in the folder referenced above?? One bar type is even listed twice. Thanks for your help in advance.

I would recommend selecting both files, right clicking on them, and select Cut
Next right click on your Windows Desktop and select Paste
Now in NinjaTrader go to Tools> Edit NinjaScript> Edit> Indicator
Select ANY indicator and press OK
Right click on the indicator code and select Compile
Test

You previously mentioned Range No Gap is listed twice and that this is what you are trying to remove. Please clarify
1) What bar type is it you are trying to remove
2) What bar type is listed twice

I show rangenogap bar types listed twice when I open up data series the drop list box shows twice however under the folder you referenced rangenogap bar types are not listed in the folder...

If this was provided a a custom assembly you would need to remove it under File> Utilities> NinjaScript Assembly. If it is not in here you would need to contact the vendor/developer for removal instructions.

Also if those types arent in the type folder than technically there is no way for me to make sure that bar type is assigned to one of the cusomt or final slots? correct? how could I possibly mange the bar types?

If it is in a protected assembly you would either need to ask the vendor/developer to modify it for you or provide what slot it is assigned and work around that.

I think they are overlapping somehow because sometimes the bar type is not there and then sometimes it appears, very strange

ninja script assemblies

Apparently a couple ninja script assemblies had same bar types in each so that was the big problem with the bar types coming up a couple times, I fixed it by removing ninja script assemblies.
