Phantom Chart

Is there anything to be done about these ghost bars from the "future"? Where are they coming from? I don't recall them in NT6...

They might only be a distraction in this case, and I've been living with them, but when they overlap the actual bars it can be very agitating.

Hi.

The realtime data ends at 1800 hours and 1354 points. The candles to the right should not exist, hence 'phantom' or 'ghost'.

This should mean that the day would close at 9:15 PM in your timezone when this template is used. You can create a custom template to better meet your needs via the Session Manager (Tools > Session Manager). I don't quite understand your suggestion. The day does close at 9:15 PM, along with the exchange, as it should. Those needs are met.

Perhaps I do not understand your needs.

You mentioned wanting to exclude data after 18:00, correct? A different session template would need to be used if you wish to exclude that data - the CME US Index Futures templates would show data after 18:00 as we've discussed.

I didn't say that though. I'll clarify.

The right cursor pulls a chart to a period that hasn't been drawn yet. In the screenshot I took at 18:00, everything to right should be empty. Instead there are candesticks, for no apparent reason. I am trying to find out how to keep them from appearing in future.
