    Hello Thomas79,

    Thanks for your post.

The icon labeled just NinjaTrader 7 is the 32-bit version and the one labeled NinjaTrader 7 (64-bit) is the 64-bit version.

It is recommended to use the 64-bit version so long as all your connectivity providers and NinjaScripts support 64-bit as it is able to better handle large amounts of memory.

Interactive Brokers and Kinetick both support 64-bit.

Below I have provided a link to the Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider section of our help guide which includes information on 64-bit support

        Hello,

It depends on if its a DLL (Protected Assembly) or .cs files. If you have the source code or created the indicator it can be used on any 64 bit or 32 bit no problem.

If its a protected DLL that you do not have access to the source files (.cs) then you would need to get an updated copy from the third party provider.

Hi...some brokers like TT and TOS, say that allowing for 64 bit connecting to their data feed is a Ninja decision. When will 64 bit be allowed for TOS, TT, and others?

Also, as far as Bid and Ask data. I know your basic Level 2 just shows 5 lines. If I programed my own indicator will I be able to pull and see the entire market depth far more than 5 lines deep on the Bid and Ask side and display in my indicator (in other words the data will be available and not limited to just 5 lines either way right)?

Lastly, do you provide tick data coming through for TT?

By the way, both brokers say that you have control of the data that is allow though to NT from them regarding the 64 bit, the level 2 depth, and tick data. Is that true?

Can you let me know all the info that may be available through broker data feeds but are suppressed by NT for whatever the reason so I will know.

          Thanks folks!

            Hello birdog,

            Thanks for your post.

Connecting to brokers with the 64-bit version of NinjaTrader will vary depending on what is capable with the supported API for NinjaTrader.
Development is taking into consideration the ability to use the 64-bit with each provider however I will submit your request and follow up with a feature ID request once available.

That is correct, within the SuperDOM only 5 levels of depth are currently available however you can view 10 levels of level 2 data in the Level II window. You can access this by going to File> New> Level II
Below I have provided a link to the Level II section of our help guide.

Additionally development is taking into consideration the ability to display more than 5 levels of depth in the SuperDOM. The feature request number for this is #312

What data is available with NinjaTrader is going to be limited to what the APIs that are used are capable of. Our development team often works with new APIs and tries to create compatibility for new features.

If there is anything further I may assist you with don't hesitate to ask.

You all had me worried there for a minute.

Let's not confuse tos with tda datafeed.

I don't think tda will let anyone get close to tos feed.

Actually the TOS feed is a pretty poor feed for stocks and futures. The brokerage was originally designed pretty much with options trading in mind, and it still shows. An aggregated feed is fine for options, as their value does not change by the stock tick.

Needless to say, an aggregated feed is murder on most intraday traders, especially any scalper.
