? Not able to set up the range bar charts......

HI , Liam here. I tried to load range bar chart by changing the series to range and keep the range as"4". But nothing loaded. Meantime the day chart canload.can help? Thanks

Thank you for your note.

Can you tell me the following:

- What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About, this will look like 7.0.1000.x

- Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

- What instrument have you selected?

- Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center? If errors are found, please report.

Hi Cameron, thanks for quick reply.
the version Im using is: 7.0.1000.10
connected to: kinetick-end of day(free)
pulling the chart for : FOREX EUR/USD
No error observed, just nothing loaded.

Liam,

The Kinetick End Of Day (Free) connection will only provide you with daily inteval charts. This would be Daily, Weekly, or Monthly charts.

For intra-day data you would need to subscribe or have this data provided from a brokerage connection that supports historical tick data.

Hi Cameron, other than buy the function, any other tips or details for the range bar chart? how to load historical data and use what kind of brokerage connection? thanks for your help!

Any data feed that supports Historical Tick data listed in the link below will work with Range charts.

Additionally, you could use Market Replay to replay a previous day while using Range bars.
