    Charts don't load

    Hello,

    Today I wanted to build a list of NYSE symbols. I opened the import stock symbols, pasted about 200 symbols into the box pressed okay and they loaded. Then I went to open a chart. I connected to Kinetick, found the newly imported symbols, highlighted a symbol, pressed new and OK and the chart just sits there empty. Why don't I see the chart?

    I did this for four symbols, AIR, ANN, M and C. Both AIR and ANN work fine, C and M have no data in the charts.

    Hello,

    Please disconnect from your data providers, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

      Christopher, I did what was suggested and there was no change in the results. I can still get charts of AIR and ANN however C and M still do not show up.

        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) Your most current trace and log files.

        You will find the trace file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

        Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

          I have the same problems.

          Hello. I - too - seems to have the same problem. Often with NQ, CL and 6E, where the data simply doesn't load. I do have three other charts with exactly the same template, that loads just fine... (TF, EMD and DX).
          I have reset both instruments and database according to this thread, with no luck.
          In the trace file I can see that there is a lot of unhandled exceptions, so there must be something wrong...
          Also, I have send a note with the mentioned trace and log file to support regarding this issue.
