problem with 1 h candles

having 1 H candles starts not at every hour but at 30m like 830 or 930.
how to fix it so they starts at 8.00 and 9.00?

Thank you for your post.

This will depend on the Session Start Time of the Session Template you are using. To check the Session Template you are using please right click in your chart > select Data Series > check the Session Template field. If it lists "<Use Instrument Settings>" you will need to go to the NinjaTrader Control Center > Tools > Instrument Manager > search for the instrument > double click on the instrument and view the Session Template field.

Once you know which Session Template is being used go to the NinjaTrader Control Center > Tools > Session Manager > select the Session Template from the drop down menu > you will see the Session Start Time, if it starts on a half hour than this is why you are seeing the 1 hour bars on each half hour.

You can change your Session Template on your chart to a Session that starts on the hour by right clicking in your chart > select Data Series > change the Session Template field to the desired Session > OK. The Session Template 'Default 24/7' starts on the hour and will show all data for the instrument.
