    demo connecting problems

    i have a demo account with forex.com. I followed the instructions and i'm now getting the following message :
    Login failed ; Unable to log into the GAIN API.
    Then asked to check user name and password ( which are correct )
    Followed by Gain error message ' Authentication problem, Do i know you ?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your post.

    Unfortunately Gain Capital/Forex.com demo accounts cannot be branded for use with NinjaTrader therefore their demo accounts are not supported.

    If you are interested in a demo account for Forex instruments please send a note to [email protected] adn let them know you are interested in a trial for Forex and they would be happy to set this up for you.

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      Forex.com - demo connecting problems

      Hello murvclarcke ,

      I have a branded demo account and I could not connect to forex.com with the same login error as below.

      I have just sent a support request to Forex.com .

      For my information , how your problem has been fixed ?

        Can you tell me what brand code you are currently using within NinjaTrader when creating your demo account connection.

          as per connection guide , I have use NJUK for Forex.com UK for the brand code parameter..
          Tried also NIJA unsuccessfully

            So I may test your connection on my end pease send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris J" in the subject line.

            In the message, please include the following:
            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) Your Gain Username and Password
