Kinetick free EOD, daily download time?

Using NT 7.0

When does the free EOD data become available for download daily with NT?

Does the license for the free version of NT and the free EOD from Kinetick expire within 30 or 60 days or is this free entirely?!

I'm currently trading with OX and their charts are pretty...bad. I found out about the free EOD from Kinetick and was up and running quick with NT. I currently only write options on futures and look forward to the coding with NT. I was a previous FOREX trader (love that market) but the time involved to monitor things was too great and I was forgetting about...life. Writing options gives me that life back. Either way, I coded several custom indicators with MetaTrader and would like to learn the code here to rewrite those indys so here I am.

Daily bars will update at 4:15 EDT when connected to the Kinetick EOD connection.

It is entirely freely - you can use NinjaTrader in simulation and the Kinetick EOD connection as long as you like. Only when you decide to trade live with our software, you will need to purchase a subscription.

NinjaTrader uses NinjaScript (C#) as programming language. Please see the link below for information regarding NinjaScript.

Hello vibarco,

Yes, this would be 10:15 PM your local time. Unfortunately it is not possible to configure it to a different time in NinjaTrader.

Does it make a difference if you right click in the chart and you select 'Reload All Historical Data'? If not, please tell me what instrument you have selected in the chart.

updated now, my problem was the end date parameter on data series properties, so, if i go to Historical Manager->Reload All, and the end date parameter is not set to today, no update is done, is that true?. Is it posible to force the end date parameter to be today always in charts?

Yes, the 'End date' should be set to today's date. It should automatically update to today's date. Are you able to reproduce this consistently?

Could it be you had NinjaTrader still running from yesterday? If so, I recommend to shut down NinjaTrader at the end of the day. Subsequently start it the next day when you like to use it again. Check if the 'End date' automatically updates to the current day.
