manual exit how to ?

hi
how do you properly exit an automated strategy and keep the real time performance intact ?

I exited a trade on a treasury note manually and I don't see the trade in the real time performance report for the strategy.

Hello Shane,

You can generate performance reports at Control Center-->Account Performance-tab. It will include all orders executed including manual submitted orders.

Please set the From and To dates to your liking. Click the Advanced>> button and subsequently enable the items you like to include in the report. More information can be found at the link below.

So you can see the manual exits under the accounts performance tab ?

I did not do that, thanks for that info.

I right click and select real time from the report menu

Is that correct then ? The manual trade will not show up the way I viewed a performance report ?

I did not realize the reports were different between the accounts tab and viewing a report from the chart and right clicking.

Yes, you will see all order executions as per the From and To dates and items you enabled under the Advanced>> button.

If you right click the chart and select Strategy Performance-->*strategy name*-->Real-time, it will not include manual submitted orders.

when I exit manually, do I disable and enable strategy to make sure they are in sync again ?

Submitting a manual order will cause the strategy and account position to be out of synch. The strategy does not known about the manual submitted order.

Disabling/enabling the strategy will synch it again depending on the settings at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Strategies-->NinjaScript-tab. More information regarding these settings can be found at the link below.
