I try load historic . I have historic of E6 of 2000 to 2010 in txt format:
Name : 6E 09-12.Last.txt
19990408 160300;1.0784;1.0784;1.0784;1.0784;0
I load historic with historical data manager:
Import
Format: Ninjatrder (end of bar time)
data type:last
Time zone: UTC
No click : generate "minute"
No click generate "day".

Now I open new chart 6E , with Value 1440 min and 5000 loads .
and the years 2005 no is in the chart, jump of 2004 to 2006

Why?

Can you confirm that the data was imported in NinjaTrader by going to the Historical Data Manager and use the Edit tab to view the 6E 09-12 Instrument and click on the "+" icons to get a level deeper?

Also you would want to check your Merge policy settings, if all of the data was imported into the 6E 09-12 instrument you would want to change it to DoNotMerge. This is because by default NinjaTrader is going to have a Merge policy setting to merge the previous contracts so you can have historical data for the other contracts on the rollover dates. If you do not wish to have them merged so you can view the contract you can change this setting by following the steps below.

* - Go to the Control Center -> Tools -> Options
* - Select the Data tab
* - Set the Merge policy to "DoNotMerge"

Yes , was import in the folder 6E-09-12. I see all years ( 1999 to 2010 and 2012)
But have other folder 6E-06-12, 6E 03-12,etc , to 6E 03-06
I now have donotmerge before mergeback ajusted.
Now my new chart dosent have the years 2011.
How insert this years (2011)?

Hello Gibranes,

You could do this one of two different ways. One would be to get data in the txt format like the data you previously got and import it into NinjaTrader.

The other would be connect to a data provider that supports that much historical data for example Kinetick. Note connecting to a data provider you may have to either have to change your merge policy settings to MergeNonBackAdjusted or split up your historical data by the different contract expiry to be able to view all the data. Sugar No. 11 ID data

Hello, at first apology for my bad english. I will start live trading next month and Ninja Trader is my favourite software. But I have one problem. I cannot display 1min, 5min, 10min, 15min, 30min and 60min charts in Sugar No. 11 (SB) and some other commodities. Can you tell me where is problem, please? I use data from CQG.
