How enter at the open on the market ?

Hello,
For my strategy i need enter at 8h00 on the FESX.
This is the pre-open on the FESX, so may i pot my "limit order " before the opening of the cotation ? My objetive is to be on the market at the "open price".
The purpose of my broker is NT with patsystem....is it OK ?

I'm sure, you can't do this with ATM orders alone. You might be able to do it with the strategy wizard though rather than actually writing your own strategy...I've never used the strategy wizard, so I'm not totally sure.

I worked with strategy runner, and i posted an Limit order on the DOM before the open. My order was passed alltime on the right nivel.
Today strategy runner is stopped.
I hope to make that with NT.

Do you just want to be able to enter orders before your market opens (pre-market), or do you want to enter then at 8:00AM specifically?

The FESX pre-open is at 8h00 (Paris) that's why i want to enter at 8h00 (Paris).
I need enter at the first cotation of the day. At the nivel of this first cotation.

Pre-market FESX : 8h00 to 9h00 (paris)
Open FESX : 9h00 PARIS

EUREX allows to enter orders during the pre-trading and post-trading phase.

For index futures pre-trading is from 7:30 to 7:50 and post-trading is from 22:00 - 22:30.

If NT allows to use this feature, May be is it possible to passing orders at theses phases ?

That sounds right, but I've never that specifically, so I can tell you for sure. I sounds reasonable enough, though.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support forum.

You can place Limit orders at anytime in NinjaTrader, however whether these are accepted and working at the exchange would be determined by your connectivity technology and the exchange servers.

There is no limitation in NinjaTrader that prevents pre-market orders from being placed.
