How to display GC and CL daily data?

I would like to display Gold and Oil future in Ninja.

I added CL 09-12 and GC 12-12 in Instrument Manager and connected Kinetick.
But Ninja only displayed the daily data which is from 09/04/2012 to 21/08/2012
(I already set "End date : 08/09/2012" in Data Series.)

Is there any setting for display the latest daily data？

Hello,

Kinetick EOD should display through 9/6/2012, i.e. 9 is the month, 6 is the date, 2012 is the year. Depending on your date settings you may want to try 9/7/2012 as your end date.

Thank you for your reply.
I checked my date setting. That is correct.

BTW when I try to "Reload All Historical Data" on chart window, I met the following error message(I attached the error screen). I don't know whether this error cause my problem.

CL 09-12 is an expired contract, you should open a chart with CL 10-12.

The error message point to a limitation for historical data. Maybe you have a data supplier that does not support more than 12 months of data. In that case simply connect to the free Kinetick EOD feed and the chart should be displayed correctly.

In that case you should check

-> your instrument settings (symbol, exchange)
-> your rollover settings
-> your chart settings

If you attach them here, I can check them. I use Kinetick for my daily CL charts and it works just fine.

The rollover setting shown for the December contract is false. But this does not matter, because you want to display the October contract. Please check the rollover settings for the October contract. The correct date is August 20, 2011. After connecting you should see an offset of 0.32 (the value will be downloaded by NinjaTrader, if the field is emtpy).

You also need to check the rollover settings for all prior months.

And for convenience, please add CL 10-12 to your default list.
