    Connection Problem

    I've been using the platform and replay all day and all of of a sudden I cant connect
    to CQG. I restarted the computer nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still no connection. I get this message: "Login failed. Unspecified Login Error" What to do?

    In this email, attach and include your Config.xml file.

      AMP+CQG demo doesn't want to connect

      Hello,
      Again after month of good connection AMP+CQG demo doesn't want to connect on my both computers. It started on Friday 14th Sept. Time to time when trying to connect the demo NT7 writes different errors:

      1. Login failed: Unable to connect to the remote server.
      2. Network connection to the Data Server System is unavailable.

      I already tried to reset winsock catalog and log. it didn't help. I tried to reinstall NT7, it also didn't help. Zen-Fire demo connects perfectly, CQG - not at all.

      I attached the trace file from "my documents\Ninjatrader 7\trace" with today's date. But I can send all other neccessary files to your e-mail. Please help me.

        CQG Demo

        " Login Failed : Unable to connect to the remote server " Since 6am est., this message has been generated. Is the CQG server down ?

        Did troubleshoot the problem by re-doing the connection but NO FIX

        Also did a repair data base, NO FIX

        This demo was working fine all week and it is NOT expired

        Please Advice
        Note: will never buy the license if this issue is unresolved. NOT Trustworthy enough !

          Hello,

          Sometimes data-providers go down for maintenance on the weekends, so this could explain the issue. This wouldn't be typical if you have no network issues at home, and have the account configured properly.

          Please submit a request outlining your issue to support at ninjatrader dot com, as we would be happy to continue working with you there.

            Going to assume they are down for maintenance, but

            Unfortunetly that is NOT the only issue. The data feed has frozen for 20mins on three different days this past week, and it is NOT my computer : Intel i7 2600 CPU , 16 G DRAM , and no other program running during trading demo.

            Will follow up with NT Support if it continues.

              The problem which is described above I suppose isn't of Ninjatrader. Because Zen-fire demo works always perfectly, but CQG demo from different companies (AMP, Logosinvest etc.) doesn't work. It stoped working in the middle of the Friday 16th Sept, so it's not only on weekends. What shoud I do? Contact with CQG or AMP? Or may be it is better to work with your tech support?
