How do I sync my ThinkOrSwim SMA's with Strategy Analyzer?

Hi all. I'm trying to backtest my first couple of scripted strategies. It's important to me that the conditions are synchronized with my thinkorswim platform, but it appears that thinkorswim calculates it's sma lines off of after hours/ pre market data (I could be wrong, but it appears the standard market hours bars in TOS match my backtest chart bars seamlessly). How is this done? By the way, I'm open to changing settings in either TOS charts, or NinjaTrader, whatever is best.. but it's not obvious how to on the TOS side, either.

What instruments are you looking at?

What session template do you have assigned to the instruments in NT?

tools->instrument manager
tools->session manager

I don't see an option to view or set the session template in instrument manager, but in session manager, it's 24/7 (I had been running simulations)

You need to dig into the instrument editor in instrument manager and see what you have set for the instrument..

US E RTH is 9:30-4:00pm mon-fri. (see session manager)

Try changing your session template to 24/7 on the equity.

Then it should match ToS

I'm trying to back test a list of 700+ symbols... do you know if is there a list or global way to set this, instead of individually?

I guess you could edit the session template for US E RTH to 24x7

probably might need a restart of NT

Or maybe I should just leave it as- is and take my signals from NT, and just use TOS for order entry.
