    Hope I'm on the right thread to ask this question.

    When I open any chart not using Minutes, I have to times 10 in order to get the right size of range bars.

    Example: Range (tick or Renko too) I have to open 50 range in order to get bars for a 5Range bar. 100Range to get a 10Range bar.

    Is there something in NT settings to open a 5Range and get a 5Range bar? The bars are ok, but the range bar timer indicator shows a count of 50 or 100 - whatever the time I set up. Like I said, Minute charts are ok. It would just be nice to have the proper range bar timer more useful instead of dealing with 100 count for a 10Range bar.

    Hope I'm clear. Like I said in the title, I'm using data from MBTrading.

      Hi Christopher.

      Ahh..I don't know how to attach a screen shot of my chart here. I'll look in my manual. I'll send it tomorrow as you might be gone by the time I figure it out.

        To take a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image.

        Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach this to your reply.

            This appears to be due to TenthPip being used for quotes. To enable NinjaTrader to quote currencies in Pip please use the steps I have provided below:
            • Control Center
            • Tools
            • Options
            • Data tab
            • Quote currencies (FX) in: Pip
            • Click Ok
            • Right click within your chart and select "Reload all historical data"

            Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

              That worked! Thank you so much, Christopher!

              The only thing I'd do differently would be to first go into Data Series and change the Range values from 50 to 5 as I first ended up with real 50 range charts. LOL No problem though as I went in and changed all the values for my three range charts.

              So nice to have the Range timer working properly. Wished I'd have asked a long time ago.
